Frontline Initiative, Inc.

Frontline Initiative is an organization committed to confronting some of the most challenging struggles faced by young people today. Our goal is help those facing adversity on the frontlines of life. The organization is comprised currently of three divisions, Poison Free, Hero Program & Frontline Artists & Speakers Bureau.

Poison Free provides an innovative approach to building social awareness through experiential education and employment opportunities for those we serve. Poison Free is a program of personal development, skill training, and leadership experiences for young people that empowers them through “positive peer pressure” to avoid poisonous activities — drug and alcohol addiction, tobacco use, gambling, cultural prejudice, and environmental waste. Poison Free has three hands-on education programs that build self-esteem and awareness. The first is Creative Technology, which provides cutting edge graphic and web design courses that build entrepreneurial confidence and provide opportunities to work on public facing projects. Second, Project Green focuses youth participants on applied ecology, sustainability, nutrition and green architecture and technologies. Our goal is for each program’s participant to move toward a more poison-free lifestyle and to become a positive role model within his or her community.

“Carrying the messages of real heroes,” Hero Program serves terminally ill children and their families. Through three different programs, we help these exemplars of courage to share their messages of hope and strength with each other and the community through writings, videos, and other avenues of communication.

My Hero
Our flagship fund-raising program is My Hero family sponsorship opportunity (Coming this Spring). My Hero supports a cutting edge interactive element where the community is given a chance to sponsor a Hero-based family while viewing the true impact of their donations. Donors will receive a set of limited run bands engraved with the number of their sponsored family. This number allows the Hero Band purchaser the opportunity to track the progress of their sponsored family through the Hero Program website. Each family will have a unique page which will be updated frequently to give the supporter an opportunity to follow the family and witness how their donation is making a real-time difference in that family's life. The bands will be available by the end of April.

Heroes for Heroes
Heroes for Heroes or (H4H) (Heroes4Heroes) is division of the Hero Program, which supports terminally ill children and their families by providing financial support where insurance does not.

The Heroes 4 Heroes initiative was started to provide opportunities for everyday people to do heroic things to support terminally ill children. Regardless of what activity you enjoy, you can be a Hero for a Hero Family by sporting a H4H logo and raising funds during your activity to support the Hero Program.

Hero Athletic Camps (Coming 2010)
Finally, we will raise additional funds for the Hero Program through fees paid by participants of Hero Program Athletic Camps. The camps will teach healthy kids sports skills, help them build character, and energize them into a spirit of service through the messages of encouragement from our heroes.

Our services are real, make an impact, and are original approaches to charitable work. We hope you will share our vision and support our efforts. You can help in many ways. We invite you to learn more about Frontline Initiative, Inc. at www.frontlineinitiative.org.
